Congrats to the Arizona St. duo of Ethier and Pedroia for their strong performance this last week. Ethier was solid in leading the Dodgers to victory twice against the Phillies with walk-off hits. Ethier looks like he finally regained some of his confidence since Manny Ramirez suspension. Pedroia continues to be a catalyst for the Red Sox at the top of the order.

Randy Johnson (USC)

Tim Lincecum had two more solid outings for the Giants. He more than likely would have had a second wind had the Giants defense and bullpen been better against the Nationals. Against the Marlins, Lincecum and his bullpen limited Florida to two runs.

Randy Johnson's victory over the Nationals on June 4th was his 300th career victory. Johnson has proven over the years that he is one of the most durable and dominant left handed pitchers in baseball history. Congrats again to Randy Johnson for joining the 300 win club!

Jacoby Ellsbury (Oregon St.)

Dustin Pedroia started off the season slow, after hitting .281 for the month of April he hit .354 for the month of May, bringing his season average to .326 If he continues his hot hitting he will once again be a front runner for AL MVP.

Jacoby Ellsbury improved his hitting in the month of May just like his teammate Pedroia. He got off to a slow start, but has shown that the ability to get on base and when he does he is a threat to steal bases. He continues to be a great table setter for the Red Sox.

Trevor Hoffman is proving to the San Diego Padres and everybody else in baseball that he is far from finished saving games. He continued his dominance in the month of May converting all 11 of his save opportunities. He has mastered his control so far this season, giving up his first walk yesterday in 15 innings pitched.

Tim Lincecum barely lost out to Hoffman for winning consecutive Pac10Pro of the month. Lincecum had a solid month and improved his numbers from April to May. He continues to show that he is one of today's dominant pitchers and will be a serious threat each month for Pac10Pro of the month.

Ryan Garko had a fabulous week for the Indians. He started off the week on Memorial Day hitting a three-run homer in the ninth inning of a miraculous comeback by the tribe. This came after hitting a homer earlier in the game against the Rays prized pitching prospect David Price.

Ben Francisco combined with Garko to create a great Pac10Pros double team this week for the Indians. His torrid hitting helped lead the Indians to a 5-2 record last week. The highlight of his week came in Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Francisco went 3-5 with a single, double, home run, two runs, and four RBIs.
