Dustin Pedroia had a great week helping the Red Sox to a five wins in seven games during the week. Pedroia is a catalyst at the top of the Red Sox lineup and continues to impress following his MVP season. However, Pedroia left Sunday's game with a strained groin. Only time will tell how this will affect Pedroia and the Red Sox lineup.

After struggling for the beginning of the season, Eric Byrnes had a great weekend series against the Nationals. He had two hits in each of the three games and raised his season average .51 points over the weekend. It will be a great story if Byrnes can stay healthy and become once again a clutch hitter in the Diamondbacks lineup.
