Seven player, three team deal in baseball

After all the medical evaluations have been completed, the biggest trade of the winter meetings is official. Although the center piece is Curtis Granderson going from the Tigers to the Yankees, there were a couple of Pac10Pros involved in the deal as well.

SP Ian Kennedy (USC) is going to the Diamondbacks and RP Daniel Schlereth (Arizona) is going to the Tigers. Kennedy will have the opportunity to join the starting rotation in Arizona if he can shake the injury bug that has plagued him the last couple of years. Schlereth will be a valuable LHP in Detoit's bullpen.
